We assume you have an '04 or later boat with a fiberglass seat pan. We don't know your year or model?
Though if it is a seat pan, you probably have some abrasion in between the seat pan and the boat that has gathered some fiberglass dust, and thus a squeak. You
should be able to spray a little Silicone on
an extended tube nozzle into that area to silence it. If it is not loose.
If it is loose, then it should be tightened.
Most of these were mounted on a piece of weather stripping that was used to slince that area. We will verify that they are still using the stripping in
production.
We hope this helps answer your questions and we would be more help if we have more information. We have almost 40 years of production to answer questions on
and we have a hard time guessing sometimes.
Reply from brushfisher: BCB, I have on 05 puma dual console....will try wwhat u suggested...how hard is it to remove the seat? Boat has less than 90 hours on it. Boat has the 2
bucket seats and the middle seat with the fold down step pad.
